The Cap d’Erquy Headland
The Cap d’Erquy and its high cliffs of pink sandstone offer breathtaking views, each one being more amazing than the previous. Lakes flow peacefully where in the ancient days there were quarries: the precious pink sand stone was for a long time extracted from the cliff, as evidenced by the remains that you’ll see when walking along the GR34® hiking path. You will walk along the moors, enjoying the colours of the yellow and the pink from the gorse and the heath under the shadow of the pine trees, on foot or by bike. An instant of contemplation is required in order to fully enjoy the variety of settings that you will discover all along the 15 kilometers of this amazing hike.
